Jeanne Marie Tripplehorn has been an American actress in the film industry television and on stage since the latter part of 1970. Talented as a thespian, she's been actively involved in professional theatre since the past 27. She first appeared on stage in the production The Big Funk (John Patrick Shanley) on Broadway off-Broadway. The Perfect Tribute was her first role on TV a year after. In 1992 she got her first big break when she was cast in Basic Instinct as a supporting character. The Firm was the film that made her the main female for the first and only moment.
