Antonina Shevchenko is Antonina Shevchenko, a Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and a mixed martial arts artist who is a part of in the UFC for the Flyweight Division, is an Kyrgyzstani. Valentina is her elder sister and a fellow UFC competitor. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as a Muay Thai kickboxer. She made her debut in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the competition and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko took home a second medal in 2007 and a bronze medal in 2008, and a gold in 2011, and then was named as the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thailand Champion in 2016. Antonia began her professional career at the age of 2003. She was the winner of the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships in 2012 and the Lightweight Lion Fight World Championships 2016, and the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina was the last time she fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Antonina Shychenko's professional MMA debut came in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She took the fight by TKO at the end of round 2. Her following two matches were staged during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko went on a hiatus from MMA to focus on her kickboxing, and she came back against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3 in 2017. Shevchenko defeated Anissa with a unanimous win. She went on to knock out Valerie Domergue during Phoenix FC 4. After leaving the league in the year 2018, Shevchenko enrolled into Dana White's Contender Series. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera on Dana White Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's superior strike skills allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the lower body. After this win, Antonina was able to sign a UFC contract. Antonina received an UFC contract following her victory. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modeafferi with an unanimous decision. But, she fell in her second bout due to a split verdict. Antonina has recovered from her loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova at UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler through rear-naked-choke submission. She was awarded the fight-of-the-night bonus. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn as well as Andrea Lee in three of her subsequent fights. She won over Ariane Lipski, and beat Ariane. Antonina suffered a loss to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
